Whitby is a coastal town in North Yorkshire
in the North of England in the British Isles.
It is on the coast of the North York Moors, one of Britain's national parks .
It is a seaside town with a stretch of sandy coastline on the North Sea . It is also has a fishing industry, with fish being on the menu of many of Whitby's restaurants. There are a number of sea trips from the harbour. Whitby has a theatres and other nightlife. As with any seaside town there are a number of hotels, guest houses, B&Bs and holiday cottages where visitors may stay. |
